Hi.👋🏻
I’m Evangeline.
Evangeline Weiss builds cultures and systems that actually live up to our shared values. A queer, white antiracist social change agent with a twinkle in her eye, she brings over 23 years of experience supporting communities and organizations through meaningful, lasting change.
Evangeline designs and facilitates change processes, workshops, and retreats that help leaders stay rooted in purpose, aligned with values, and capable of real impact—especially when things get messy. She holds a master’s degree in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and began her career in New York City, facilitating transformational work in HIV/AIDS prevention across public health systems, social justice coalitions, nonprofits, and educational institutions.
Her work has always lived at the intersection of courage and care. After helping the state of Maine win marriage equality in 2012, Evangeline went on to work nationally on gender non-discrimination. Since 2020, her consulting has focused on generative conflict and building cultures of liberation—supporting groups to move through tension without losing one another.
In addition to facilitating groups and communities, Evangeline coaches white people with rank and influence to practice antiracism with accountability, humility, and heart. She turned her TV off in 1987, prefers walking and making art to doomscrolling, and is glad to call Chapel Hill, North Carolina home.
I earned a Masters’ Degree in Education from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994. After that, I worked at NYS Department of Health HIV Training Institute and Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC). Moving to North Carolina in 2002 to work for Duke University’s Office for Institutional Equity, I began to hone my consulting skills by organizing across the health system and university to create work cultures that center belonging and equity. From 2010 to 2020, I created leadership programs for the National LGBTQ Task Force centered around antiracism and organizing big volunteer teams. My experience building capacity for campaigns and organizations led me to launch a full-time consulting practice in 2020.
I like to travel, make art and walk around. I turned my TV off in 1984. I am happy to call Chapel Hill, North Carolina, home.
My consulting practice can give you the skills you need to address real-world challenges, changes, and conflicts through one-on-one coaching, organizational culture change, and leadership development through workshops or retreats.
